The Academic Integrity and AI Writing Detection Service using Turnitin is provided to support students and staff in ensuring the quality of their academic work in a transparent, accurate, and ethically responsible manner, in accordance with the principles of academic integrity.
Turnitin enables users to check the similarity of their work against a wide range of global sources, including research publications, academic articles, and online content. In addition, the system offers AI Writing Detection to analyze the potential use of AI-generated content, allowing users to refine and improve their work to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and to reduce the risk of unintentional plagiarism.
In this regard, the Faculty of Economics has obtained administrator access to the Turnitin system from the Central Library in order to facilitate and enhance service provision for students and staff. This ensures more convenient, efficient, and effective access to the system.
This service is suitable for reviewing various types of academic work, including reports, academic articles, theses, independent studies, and other assigned coursework, prior to submission to instructors or public dissemination.
